Learning that you or a family member has been diagnosed with a serious illness can be one of the most stressful events in your life. Rest assured that as a member of a PGH program, you are not alone - the Care Management staff at PGH will be with you every step of the way.
PGH has developed a team of medical professionals to manage the care and treatment of its members who are stricken with critical illness. These include:
- Medical Board
- National Medical Adviser
- Medical Director
- Personal Care Manager (Registered Nurse)
- Medical (physician) specialist(s) at the National Center for Medical Excellence, selected for the member's condition.
